Stop Prank Callers With Reverse Phone Detective!

Posted by Editor Friday, October 23, 2009 0 comments

You're sound asleep on a weekend night and enjoying your first chance in days to get a good night's sleep, then the shrill ringing of the phone wakes you up in a panic. Still shaken, you put the receiver to your ear, only to discover the call was a prank.

Angrily, you slam down the phone and try to go back to sleep while you tell yourself that you'll find a way to stop prank callers from harassing you again. Why didn't you sign up at ReversePhoneDetective.com when you had the chance?

Prank Callers - What's the Solution?

We've all received prank calls. In some cases, they are merely one-time annoyances. For other people, prank calls are downright harassment.

A private investigator may be able to help you stop the calls, but you'll end up investing hundreds of dollars just to find out the identity of the person who owns the number. You could also try doing a reverse phone lookup at one of the many free sites available, but most prank callers don't use public landline numbers - the only ones you can find information on through free services.

Your best option is to go through ReversePhoneDetective.com. You'll pay just a single fee for unlimited access to hundreds of millions of records, including information on cell phone, unlisted, and landline numbers.

You'll also get advanced tools like free search assistance, access to expanded people search database records, even family member information! All you need to do is enter the area code and seven digit number, and you'll get information like the number owner's name and address - which will help you stop your prank caller once and for all!

What to Do Next

So, once you have the information, what do you do? For one, you could wait until you receive the next prank call - then call them by name - so they know that YOU know exactly who THEY are.

If they don't quit, you'll have the information you need to approach the police or to file a harassment complaint. In most cases, you won't have to resort to those drastic actions. You can usually stop prank callers once they realize they're no longer operating in the dark.

Reverse Phone Search

Find out the owner of any cell phone or unlisted number. Results include name, address, and other available information. Your search is 100% confidential.

How does Business VoIP benefit a Hotel?

Posted by Editor Tuesday, October 20, 2009 0 comments

Keeping those long distance bills in check is the domain of the business VoIP solution, which delivers high quality phone service, additional features for the convenience of patrons and staff, and tremendous cost savings.

Most hotels will have a set of quality standards, and those standards extend beyond the hotel restaurant, room service, and cleanliness standards. Those standards extend to quality of the entire experience, starting from the first time the customer calls into the reservation desk. Call quality is vital. If the call is choppy or fuzzy, then the caller may get frustrated, and that experience will color their perception of the hotel, even if everything else is superior. Business VoIP can deliver superior voice quality of service, although it is important when acquiring the VoIP service to establish ahead of time the level of call quality, and whether or not a service level agreement is available and on what terms.

Hotel Internet is no longer a mere convenience or "extra" for guests, most see it as an essential component of their stay. And guests expect the Internet access to be easily available, of good quality, and fast. Checking email in the hotel room before dinner should be quick and painless. Having to wait for a connection, and then experiencing slow access or download times, will cause frustration and result in a poor experience for the guest.

Similarly, more guests are aware of security-related issues, especially related to WiFi and wireless access. When access is provided to guests, whether it is wireless or wired, guests must be reassured that the connection is secure as well as fast. This may involve the implementation of firewalls and authentication systems, which may require guests to use a password or a hardware token to gain secure access to the network.

Hotel guests also need easy and high-quality access to telephone service; and VoIP can provide this as well. Often, the IP PBX can provide additional features for delivering quality service to patrons, and accounting functions for billing calls to the room.

Some of the criteria any business should use to evaluate multiple VoIP service providers are technology capabilities, quality of customer service, reputation for reliability of company in the industry, costs for implementation including up-front costs and of course operational costs. The bottom line - for businesses to get the best of their investment, finding the right business VoIP provider is critical. Fill in the form above to have a specialist contact you and start saving money now.

There are several ways to do this, and ultimately, running a technologically efficient office not only benefits the doctor, it also benefits the patient. That's because the patient will be better serviced, records will be accurate, mistakes will be kept to a minimum, and patient calls will be answered in a timely fashion.

One of the first elements of running an efficient doctor's office is telephony. Most doctor's offices are very busy, have multiple lines, and receive phone calls constantly. Many of the callers are in pain, may be suffering health-related emergencies, and need desperately to make an appointment. Delivering good customer service to these patients is the first rule of good medicine. Fortunately, delivering this type of good service is cheap and effective. Business VoIP is very common in busy doctors' offices, not only because it delivers cheaper rates, but also because it allows the office to deliver many more sophisticated telephony services that help to better serve the patients.

At any given time, there may be several different reasons for a call to the doctor's office, especially in a large practice. The caller may wish to be connected to a specific group or individual physician's office within that practice. They may need to make an appointment, they may need emergency advice on the phone, or may need a prescription to be called in. The most efficient way to handle these calls, and service all patients on a timely basis, is to implement an auto attendant that can route calls to the most appropriate location for answering. Working with that auto attendant, or alternately with a live operator in the case of a smaller office, the next solution is a call queue. There may often be multiple callers calling for the same reason. Immediately after a billing cycle, there may be dozens of patients trying to get through to the billing department at the same time. Similarly, there may be multiple patients trying to make an appointment.

The call queue helps to relieve some of the confusion by establishing a sort of virtual traffic cop. The auto attendant or live operator will determine each caller's purpose, and then if their destination extension is busy, the caller will be placed into a queue to wait to be connected to the next available appropriate staff person who can handle their request. The queue minimizes wait time, especially when it is divided into multiple call queues based on destination and purpose, which means that patients have to wait less to be serviced. The call queue, common to almost all business VoIP services, will also often include added features such as an automated announcement which tells the caller how much longer they have to wait, or provides them with an option of leaving a voice message for a later callback.

Smaller doctors' offices may prefer to use less sophisticated options if their call volume does not warrant call queuing. But even a small office with only one doctor and one phone line needs to provide good service to patients, and call waiting can provide an option here. Call waiting will allow for emergency calls to be answered and not go to voicemail, to make sure that every caller is receiving the attention they deserve.

The call queue is particularly important in the dentist's office, and this feature is available in many of the common business VoIP systems at low incremental cost. The last thing a caller with a toothache wants to hear when they call the dentist is a busy signal. That busy signal is a disservice to patients, and in many cases, will mean that they will go someplace else to handle their emergency. Nor do the patients want to be told that they will be called back later. However, a busy dentist's office faces a dilemma. The office manager wants to provide good service to everyone on the phone, and attend to everyone's questions, requests for appointments, and emergencies. Yet, the phones may be "ringing off the hook," and it may prove difficult to manage that many calls without losing a few.

The most efficient way to handle it, and the best way to service a busy office, is to use a call queue. The call queue may be tied to an auto attendant feature, or alternately, may be routed by a live operator. Either way, the caller is placed into a queue to wait for somebody to answer their call, make their appointment, call into the pharmacy for them, or reassure them that the pain will come to an end.

This inbound call queue should include convenience features, such as a periodic announcement indicating the caller's position in the queue or how long they will have to wait to be connected to a live person. Some business VoIP systems that offer this feature will allow the office to implement more than one queue, which can be quite useful for handling calls of a different nature. Emergency calls could be placed into one queue to ensure that they are given priority; appointment calls can be placed into a second queue, and callers needing general information could either be placed into a third queue or given access to recorded information such as location and hours.

Since within these busy law offices, staff members often have multiple tasks that may transcend the traditional departmental divisions, the business VoIP feature that allows for a "virtual department" is often quite useful. This option works with the auto attendant function to direct calls to individual extensions or a group of extensions, based on job description category, rather than the extension number alone. This allows for the creation of multiple, even overlapping, virtual departments within the law firm. When the caller indicates the reason for their call, the PBX then analyzes the response and directs the call to the individual or group which most closely addresses that specific need.

Dentist offices that are exceptionally busy or have a large staff will benefit from call queues. Smaller offices with one or two doctors and one or two staff persons may not have need for such a system, but may instead benefit from simpler options such as call waiting. This simple option, available on virtually every business VoIP system available, allows a caller to ring through even if the line is busy. This is especially handy for smaller offices that have only a single phone line.

The call waiting option in the small office will allow dental patients to all be served, without having to endure a busy signal; and will further ensure that the dentist not miss a call or an opportunity to serve a client.

Businesses can save up to 80% on their phone bills by switching to Business VoIP. VoIP stands for "Voice over Internet Protocol", which is a technology that allows you to make phone calls using your Broadband Internet connection instead of your regular phone service. It is often referred to as Broadband phone or Internet phone service. You still simply pick up your regular phone, dial a number and talk.

A busy CPA office relies on the telephone and the advanced features made available with business VoIP to thrive. A CPA firm, besides offering quality services on a timely basis, thrives on the maintenance of customer service, and this means being available to clients when they call. As a result, advanced telephony features are critically important.

How does Business VoIP benefit a CPA business?

For larger CPA firms, the auto attendant feature available in many business VoIP services will prove invaluable. Like businesses in all segments, CPA firms too must keep costs down, and the auto attendant allows for easy routing of calls, delivery of good customer service, and minimizing personnel required to operate the phones.

The auto attendant feature creates a professional atmosphere and allows callers to be directed to precisely the right destination. There are several different types of auto attendant, including the push-button format which is familiar to most as the "press one to be connected to . . ." scenario. A voice-enabled auto attendant may offer more convenience, which incorporates voice recognition to direct calls.

In all auto attendant functions, it is desirable to have an "opt out" button to allow the caller to press "zero" to be connected to a live operator. This is a common complaint, and the CPA firm will better serve their customers by allowing those who experience frustration or difficulty with auto attendants to be immediately connected to a live operator without having to go through all the options.

The auto attendant will also allow smaller CPA offices with only one or two staff to better handle the call flow, and to create the appearance of a larger organization. Another consideration is that many CPA firms are moving towards becoming "virtual organizations" with staff and principals working from home offices and remote locations, rather than a central location. Business VoIP services will allow an auto attendant to still exist, even if there is no physical headquarters, and to direct calls to each remote location as if each were an extension within a single office.

Another important feature for CPA offices is the auto alert feature, which is available on some business VoIP services. This is especially valuable for smaller offices, or busy CPAs who may be servicing a large number of clients. The priority alert feature works with the auto attendant, allowing calls to be routed and then to ring with a specific ring pattern to denote that a certain client is calling. The auto alert feature can also be configured to ring differently for internal calls than from external ones. In addition to setting the alert parameter based on the calling number, parameters may also incorporate time of day or day of week, and multiple parameters can be combined when setting the alert priorities.

    Design

The attractive and distinctive 5610 Red is a slider phone with state of the art navigation controls. It is definitely an upgrade to the 5310 model and it also feels comfortable to hold the cell in the palm of your hand. The 2.2 inch LCD display supports 16 million colors and razor sharp graphics. You can always change the font size and color.

There is a one touch access to the music functions. If you slide the bar to the left you will get the music player menu and if you slide the bar to the right you get the FM radio. There is a five way toggle for central navigation and once you open up the music player the toggle becomes the control for managing the tunes. The shortcut options in 5610 red are varied and many. When the phone is in standby mode, the left soft key opens up a shortcut menu that gives the toggle a one touch access to four-user defined features. There are few onscreen shortcuts as well.

The toggle keys are surrounded by two soft keys and Talk and End Power keys. The cell itself has bright backlight and there is no problem of misdials under poor lighting conditions. On the right spine of the 5610 are the volume control and the camera control. The micro USB jack and the cell’s charger port are on the top spine of the 5610 Xpress Music. On the back of the 5610, you will find the camera lens, flash and a speaker. The photos can be taken even without opening the phone. This is a great advancement from the earlier music models of Nokia. The micro SD card slot is safely tucked away behind the battery compartment.

    Multimedia

The 5610 Xpress Music can be personalized with light effects, themes, wallpapers and animations. These actually make the cell look more trendy and stylish. You can obviously download more from T-Mobile’s T-Zone services with the help of the WAP 2.0 browser. The set has a few demo games like Guitar Hero III, Dance Revolution, Dance et al. You can buy the full versions after trying out the demo versions on the cell itself.

You can shoot videos with sound in three different resolutions. The 5610 can also be used as a still camera. So this should excite the teenagers who are always clicking away their cell phones. The camera shoots at 15 frames per second while the camcorder shoots at 30 frames per second. Thus the picture quality is always good. There is also the auto focus function which is an integral part of any modern day camera. If you want prints of your favorite snaps then you can always connect your phone to the PC via Bluetooth, USB cable or the memory card.

The memory space in 5610 Xpress Music is a good 20 MB which is enough to store some of your best snaps. The memory is expandable to 8 GB with the micro SD cards.

The 5610 is actually a better version than 5310 in the sense that it has a 3.2 mega pixel camera. It is capable of taking JPEG pictures in six different resolutions. The different available camera settings are Three quality modes, Three color effects, Night mode, Landscape mode, Self – timer, Sequence mode for shooting six rapid photos etc.

    Music Player

The music player is similar to that of 5310 but definitely a notch better. Features such as airplane mode, stereo widening and shuffle play gives a new dimension to listening to music. You can also choose color skins which is a new feature for those who had been using the 5310 or similar sets. MP3, MP4 and AAC tracks can be played with ease and iTunes can be set as ring tones.

Bluetooth 2.0 and USB connectivity is present for faster file exchange between the PC and the cell phone

So it can be safely inferred that 5610 is actually an improvement upon 5310 though the two phones have some similar features. But the similarity only ends there, The 5610 Xpress Music for T – Mobile is definitely a different class altogether and should be a sure hit with music phone lovers.

    Slim features

The RAZR is known for its ultra slim and sleek look. To make sure that the thin frame is kept intact, the navigation buttons have been cleverly designed in such a way so that they lie completely embedded in the surface of the phone. The menu navigation comes with a five –way communication toggle that also doubles up as a shortcut to four features which the user wants to choose. The two soft keys talk and end buttons, and shortcut keys for the web browser and messaging feature form the basis of the keypad. The shortcut keys not only make life easier by doing away with the cumbersome process of going into the menu and then onto different sections but also takes care of ensuring maximum functionality in the RAZR’s slim frame. How absolutely technologically innovative is that!

    Convenience

You can stuff your phone book up to the gills with up to 1,000 contacts, six entries per person and one email address. That is a whole lot of information that the RAZR keeps track of just for you. Not only can you organize your contacts into groups but you can also assign a photograph or a ringtone to them. You can actually choose from any of 14 monophonic or 5 polyphonic ring tones. Graphics on your phone can be customized with the Foto Fun editor.
